11月から価格改定 池沼織工房 遠州棉紬

It's still hot and humid, but the city is slowly starting to feel autumn. There are many people who think that autumn is a relaxing time to do needlework at home. We have received an increasing number of inquiries about our Japanese sewing classes held on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Our Japanese sewing class does not have a fixed curriculum, the assignments are negotiable, there is no joining fee, and you can attend as many times as you like! It is possible to participate only once, such as making an adzuma bag or attaching a half-collar using the hand towels and hand towels you have on hand. Once you experience it, you will want to sew more! This is a friendly Japanese sewing class with many participants. Everyone is working on their own challenges.

Of course you are free to bring your own materials and sew with the materials you have, but I would like to sew a kimono from fabric! For those who are looking for materials, one that we recommend is Enshu Momen. Prices start from around 1,000 yen per meter, and if you purchase 12 to 13 meters, it will be the length of one roll. (*If you are tall, you may need 14㎡) Since it is sold by the meter, you can change it up with two different fabrics. It has also been well received by people who use it not only for making kimonos, but also for making clothes and accessories.

I want to see the real thing, including the color and thickness of the fabric! In order to respond to your request, our store offers samples that you can try out, mainly in the plain series. We do not have all samples available, so please check if we have samples of the fabric you would like to see before visiting our store.

We basically provide samples of fabrics that are available for order on our online shop, so please refer to them .

The long autumn nights are spent leisurely doing needlework. We are still looking forward to your inquiries regarding Japanese sewing classes!
